When “Free” Makes the Price Go Up

Each SIM plan claims you get either 1 year, 3 years, or lifetime free service. Yet the price of the exact same product increases every time you switch between those options. Nothing about the hardware changes. Only the price does.

There is literally nothing “free” about that.

If selecting “free” makes the total cost go up, then it was never free to begin with.
