Welcome to Birds!

Hello internet,

This is the first post in , a fun and friendly place for all things related to birds!

Since Digg is still a fairly "new again" place on the internet, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate this launch by commemorating my one of my best birds from childhood. (They're all the best!)

You may have noticed the profile picture and mascot of this community is a little white bird.

His name is "Little Earth", a direct translation of his name into English. He was my little friend who me through hard times. Although he is no longer with us today, I hope to grow this community into a space in the beautiful sky that honors his memory. 🕊️

It's fun to refresh this page and see the number of members go up by one every now and again. Anyone joining this place so early on is intentionally looking for a community for all things birds, and that makes me so happy!

As we are still in the early stages of this Digg community's development, we too will grow with the site. In the meantime, please always remember to follow Digg's global community rules and guidelines.
