Approaching Jotunheimen

This is Lake Vinstre looking beautiful on a summer night, although it owes its size to being part of a hydroelectric power plant reservoir. It's an easy area to hike, as there are plenty of cabins open to hikers in the area. You can actually walk all the way here from the capital of Norway, Oslo, and be surrounded by wilderness almost the entire way. Check out the Jotunheimstien trail.
