Fears grow for elderly man kidnapped from Sydney home

An elderly man, Chris Baghsarian, was kidnapped from his home in North Ryde, Sydney, in a case of mistaken identity. The 85-year-old widower was taken by three men who broke into his home and filmed him tied up and beaten. Police believe the intended target was a Sydney underworld figure living overseas, whose family member was mistakenly targeted. Baghsarian, who is frail and requires daily medication, is in grave danger without his medication. Police are urgently appealing for his safe return and medical attention.
