Fender Mix Headphones: What you think about these?
Hey folks!
CES 2026 dropped Fender’s first over-ears – the Fender Mix at $300.
I’m a Fender die-hard (my Strat’s been gigging forever), so part of me is stoked. Modular stuff like swappable pads, replaceable battery, 100h playtime (52h ANC), LDAC dongle for lossless/low-latency? Feels musician-friendly. Warm bassy sound from demos, joystick controls, Auracast – kinda cool vs. Marshall.
But man, I’m torn and skeptical AF. Is this just guitar-brand hype? Reddit’s r/headphones says it: “Neat features, but ANC weak, sound bass-heavy not hi-fi?” “80 years amps, now headphones?” At $300, beats Sennheiser Momentum? Modular gimmick or real? No full reviews, battery real-world? Meh.
Seen Insta reels hyping it, YT gaming demos ok. For my studio/travel? Tempted, but waiting.
You tried ’em? Musos – monitoring ok? Audiophiles – skip? Gamers – latency? Spill your gut takes below. Hyped or nah?
