I’m very patient, but we need to talk about the "New Digg" bottlenecks
I understand Digg is in a rebirth phase.
I understand there are teething issues.
But what is the roadmap here?
We are a month in, and several "Day 1" essentials still feel broken. If we want this to be a true community hub, we have to address these three blockers:
The "Shadow" Filter: Every post containing an external URL is either instantly removed or stuck in "Pending Approval" limbo for an undisclosed amount of time. It makes sharing timely news or resources impossible.
The Missing Edit Button: We are still in a "one and done" environment. There is no way to fix a typo or update a post with new info. In 2026, an edit option isn't a luxury; it’s a standard.
Zero SEO Visibility: Barely anything on the platform is being indexed by Google. We are essentially talking to ourselves in a locked room. Without SEO, there is no organic growth for the communities we are trying to build.
These feel like "Priority 1" fixes, yet we haven't seen movement in weeks. It is hard to stay invested when there is no visibility and no room for error.
