Mandelbrot & Flame Fractals

Taking advantage of the holiday downtime, doing some file organization and cleanup, and came across the PDF poster of a lecture, "The Nature of Roughness in Mathematics, Science, and Art", I attended back in 2009 in San Francisco State University by BENOIT B. MANDELBROT. While fascinating, it was a monumentally obtuse lecture that had most of the participants scratching their heads. But it inspired me to start playing around with Ultra Fractal 5, and a random open source flame fractal generator back in the day. Thought I would dig through my archives and share just a few. I really do think fractals are freaking glorious.
