Nepal: Publish Reports on Violent Crackdowns on Protests - Amnesty International

Nepal’s interim government, led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki, is urged by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and the International Commission of Jurists to release the Commission of Inquiry report on the deadly violence during the 'Gen Z' protests in September 2025, as well as previous inquiry reports on human rights violations. All political parties participating in the March 5, 2026, parliamentary election should commit to ending impunity for rights abuses and corruption by upholding the rule of law and successfully completing the transitional justice process.
