Android 17: Confirmed features, codename, leaks, release date, and everything else we know so far

Android 17 Beta 1 has been released, confirming several new features. Key features include Material 3 Expressive, Desktop Mode, Live Updates, and various UI enhancements. Android 17 will also introduce new security features like Local Network Protection and App Lock.
