Great to see NHS England scaling Microsoft 365 Copilot to more than 500,000 staff.

In early trials, staff saved an average of 43 minutes per day, helping put more time back into what matters most, caring for patients. https://ukstories.microsoft.com/features/nhs-england-accelerates-ai-adoption-with-microsoft-365-copilot-to-improve-service-delivery-reduce-costs-and-create-more-time-for-care/

@satyanadella I can't trust CoPilot to generate a friggin PowerPoint without hallucinating or stopping half way through and not finishing the task.

So I guess it's perfect for the NHS.

@satyanadella how does copilot save anyone time, specifically?

@satyanadella All you do is increase prices, make everything subscription-based and shove ads in your shitty OS. You're shoving AI down everyone's throats and creating terrible software.

@satyanadella How do they verify the 43 min?

@satyanadella yeah i want the person who thought this a good idea found and fired.

have you seen how broken co-pilot is. have you seen the cost of it to both customer privacy and usability.

yeah i dont want the NHS using a cloud based system that they dont own and oversee. KEEP IT IN HOUSE!

@satyanadella The Microsoft is sitting on goldmine of the locked customer. It needs to crack a SoTA LLM to compete with OA, Ant and other frontier models I am sure you are working on it

@satyanadella 43 minutes/day is the headline. but 43 minutes of what? reformatting meeting notes or actual decision time reclaimed? the unit matters as much as the number.

@satyanadella If Copilot can rescue nurses from the inbox swamp, that might be the least dystopian AI story of the year.

@satyanadella If you think plugging in diagnostic data into CoPilot will result in more time with patients, you clearly don't remember the promise of the PC, the Internet, and 5G doing the same.

@satyanadella 43 min/day across 500k staff is massive. Real test is if those savings stay or slip.

@satyanadella 43 min saved but what’s the actual impact on patient outcomes?

@satyanadella This is wonderful... 43 minutes a day is not just efficiency, it's more time to listen to patients and actually be with them. Love seeing tech used this way.

@satyanadella This is huge. 43 minutes a day back for actual patient care? NHS might actually move faster than a waiting list for once.

@TresyHQ @satyanadella Extrapolation then just make it up. NHS staff are some of the most IT illiterate in the UK. Most of them barely know what a web browser is much less CoPilot
