By contrast, look at a question that gets him REALLY heated: the notion that his “doom marketing” strategy of talking up AI tools to be so powerful they could replace all forms of human labor or escalate to a World War is BS. Asking him about Anthropic’s role in a massacre of Iranian children and teachers? That’s fine. But critically examining the hype machine keeping this unprecedented AI tech bubble from popping? Now THAT’S a red line.
