I think it's excellent & notable that the answer to "what should we do" in Anthropic's blog post on RSI is essentially figuring out ways to slowdown/temporarily pause frontier AI development.

Given that slowdown is a coordination problem, it's really important that all involved actors publicly signal willingness to participate.
As Anthropic mentions a lot of this relies on trust. I think 3rd parties could play a huge role in mediating pauses!
