Mistral says it raised €3 billion in Series D funding

Mistral says it raised €3 billion at a valuation of more than €21 billion after the investment. The company names Samsung as the lead investor, alongside co-leads EQT's Scaleup Europe Fund and PSG Equity, with continued backing from ASML, Nvidia, BNP Paribas CIB and others. It says the funding supports infrastructure, products and deployment at scale, while expanding frontier research and model development. Mistral also pitches its open-weight models, products and infrastructure as giving organizations a choice over how and where they run AI, without lock-in.
