    TLDR

Judge Glock, Director of Research and Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of The Dead Pledge, posted that people treat AI alignment like only a technical problem when it is mainly an incentive issue. He argued that the way to get AI aligned is to align the interests of AI labs with the public. Torts do that better than bureaucracy, he wrote in his City Journal Substack post. Seb Krier, AGI Policy Development Lead at Google DeepMind and former Head of Regulation at the UK Office for Artificial Intelligence, retweeted it.
