    TLDR

Teortaxes, a pseudonymous AI developer known as DeepSeek's most vocal online booster, posted that one very depressing thing about Japan is that so much of its AI is built by immigrants. The post compares this to a GCC profile involving MBZUAI and KAUST with Schmidhuber. Teortaxes added that Japan ought to have a lot more domestic technical talent than Gulf States. The comment appears in a public post that includes a photo link.

@teortaxesTexI think one very depressing thing about Japan is that so much of Japanese AI is built by immigrants. That's a GCC profile. MBZUAI, KAUST with Schmidhuber… But Japan ought to have a lot more domestic technical talent than Gulf States.
@Mononofu@hardmaru On the other hand I also feel Japan is one of the countries best prepared for the labour market changes coming from AI, so maybe that’s ok.
