@Dorialexander @antonosika crazy work
@antonosika You actively undermined EU tech sovereignty. Don’t think we’ll need your lessons.
A sharp X exchange has flared up around whether Europe should train its own large language models or focus on building products atop foreign ones. Research engineer Alexander Doria publicly accused Lovable CEO Anton Osika of having undermined EU technological sovereignty with 2023 advice against domestic LLM training, only for the reply to be hidden by Osika. The spat gained fresh oxygen after DeepSeek R1's release revived the broader debate on European AI independence.

The exchange leaves the core strategic question unresolved: whether prioritizing sovereign base models or rapid product development on existing infrastructure better serves long-term European goals.
Circulating images of the hidden reply have turned a brief online disagreement into a public reminder of how personal the European AI strategy arguments have become.
Many users mock Anton Osika with sarcasm and ratio taunts for allegedly undermining EU tech sovereignty, calling his claims hypocritical given his Delaware C corp startup.

@yacineMTB still can't escape ratio

@yacineMTB was he wrong? best move was to buy GPUs and serve other models

@Dorialexander What's the argument for training models instead of focusing on chips/datacenters?

@Dorialexander Case in point...

@Dorialexander ratio'd too

@yacineMTB Isn’t his startup Delaware C corp? European sovereignty lol

@Dorialexander You seem to misunderstand the EU, it isn't a pan-european project but since its inception an atlantic one.

@Dorialexander Playing with hermes agent on my server, with a Traefik skill that can setup a subdomain and systemd service, took me an hour to have a system that take one voice message and builds a web app running live I can access from anywhere, but surely, glad lovable is EU, much sovereign👍

@yacineMTB whenever you hear europoors talking about EU-sovereignty, just know they are PR-maxxing to their buerocratic overlords. the only way to make it big in EU, is to have the backing of the party. if you don't, you will be treated as the devil, just like with Elon
