OpenAI's claimed advance on the quasi-Riemann Hypothesis

A post attributes to Terence Tao the claim that OpenAI made the “biggest advance on the subject in 50 years” on the quasi-Riemann Hypothesis. The quoted remarks describe a “massive new zero-free region” and a technique combining three or four existing ideas in an unusual way. They suggest a team of mathematicians might have reached the result through extensive trial and error.
