    TLDR

Semafor reports on a new AI tool that lets brands edit influencer-recorded sponsored content into dozens of video variants—to try different hooks, fix errors or target different audiences. Its maker says creators will be able to "scale themselves like software."

A writer discussing the report questions how well this category of tools works, saying she hasn't found any that actually work. She sees their potential usefulness but thinks the technology isn't ready yet.

@TaylorLorenzThere are a bunch of tools like this hitting the market but I haven't found any of them that actually work!! They seem useful but I think the tech isn't there yet. That said, it's clearly the way things are going. I wrote about CAA getting into this realm a few months ago https://www.vanityfair.com/news/story/influencers-ai-clones
