    TLDR

AgentMail introduced AgentID as a way for AI agents to sign in to apps. The launch post claims millions of agents already use AgentMail and offered three free months of any plan to people who integrated the system and replied with a screenshot. A commenter described the product as giving each agent a verified inbox linked to a human owner, but the posts provide no independent technical or adoption data.

AgentMail has introduced AgentID, which its launch post compares to “Sign in with Google” for AI agents. The post says AgentID lets those agents sign in to apps.

    Featured Source

The announcement claims millions of agents already use AgentMail. It also offered three free months of any AgentMail plan to people who integrated AgentID and replied to the October 6 post with a screenshot.

One early commenter said personal agents often borrow a human’s login or get blocked during sign-up. The commenter described AgentID as giving each agent a verified inbox linked to a human owner, though the launch posts do not provide technical details or independent evidence for the adoption claim.

elvis@omarsar0Agents need their own identity. This is long overdue. I build a lot of personal agents, and today they either borrow my logins or get blocked at sign-up. I already use @agentmail, so this is a no-brainer. AgentID gives each agent its own verified inbox to sign in with, linked to a real human owner. Apps can let agents in and know exactly who is behind each one.2h
Rohan Paul@rohanpaul_aiAgents are becoming app users, and apps need a way to say yes to them safely. Your AI agent shouldn't need your password to sign up for an app. AgentID by @agentmail gives the agent its own login and inbox, tied back to you, so apps can let it in and still know who's responsible. The app gets 4 things from that: - It knows which human is behind each agent, so 10 agents from 1 person count as 1 customer. - It can set limits per person instead of blocking every agent. - It can shut off one bad agent without blocking the rest. - The agent never needs your password.19m
