OpenAI enabled a locked use feature for Codex that permits the system to control Mac applications from a connected phone even when the device is locked and the screen is off

It requires an Apple authorization plug-in for macOS sessions.

Watching Codex use a Mac that’s fully locked feels slightly impossible the first time you see it.
