Thrive Holdings says it plans to invest in ADT's people and technology to serve home security customers.
Thrive Holdings announced an agreement to acquire ADT on October 29, saying it sees an opportunity to invest in the company's people and technology. One commentator called the deal an “AI forward move”; another speculated that an AI push could involve OpenAI.
