Sierra publishes first Personal Agent Protocol draft, announces 35 new design partners

Sierra says it published the first draft of Personal Agent Protocol, also called Poppy, on October 9 and announced 35 new design partners. It had announced the protocol earlier that week with Meta, Genesys, Instinct, Rocket, Shopify, Stripe and Walmart. Sierra says the draft aims to give consumers choice and control while helping companies tell when they're dealing with an agent and whom it represents. It invites feedback toward an open standard.
