AI note-taking in Google Meet and welcome videos in Google Vids

For virtual meetings, Google says to click the pencil icon when Meet starts; for in-person discussions, open Meet and tap “Take notes.” It says Gemini will create a Google Doc with a summary, action items and a complete transcript, with notes saved to Drive and sent by email. For welcome videos, Google suggests choosing “create AI video” in Vids, uploading a picture of yourself and prompting a high-energy video for your club or dorm floor with a warm, welcoming, fun tone.
