Cloudflare Launches Clairic: Fast, Specialized Extraction Model for Unstructured Data

Cloudflare says Clairic is available as a preview on Workers AI and returns typed values and confidence scores from text or images. In its damaged-product claim demo, a pipeline using Clairic, Clef and GLM-5.3 took 19.3 seconds and cost $6,032 per million claims, versus 61.7 seconds and $11,740 for an all-GLM-5.3 pipeline. Cloudflare plans to release open weights and cautions that multi-step arithmetic remains weak.
