A researcher says an upcoming New York City workshop talk will examine when teams of coding agents outperform single agents, where collaboration pays off and how smarter compute allocation and heterogeneous teams could improve the performance-cost trade-off. They claim to have found a way to achieve near-frontier team performance at 70% lower cost and said a paper and blog were planned for October 14, 2026.
