The AI moment means we have to step up.
We can't wait a few more years to see how many people get laid off, how many lives get turned upside down.
This is the moment for Congress to take action.

Positive users supported Warren's call for immediate action on AI job disruptions to protect workers, while negative users insulted her personally as a fraud or moron and opposed regulating AI.

Comrade Warren is right.
We cannot simply sit back and let AI disrupt the workforce and lead to excessive efficiency and production.
This is the moment for Congress to step in and slow things down.
If we wait too long, people might actually become more productive, more independent, and require less assistance from the government.
We must act now, before too many lives improve on their own.
The 5 year plan is perfect. ☭

@ewarren

@ewarren What is AI? Can you define it? What does it do?

@ewarren

@ewarren Because it would be better for China to control AI?

@ewarren Your last AI czar was Kamala Harris. What could possibly go wrong?

Maybe the real fear is not AI taking American jobs.
Maybe the fear is AI helping independent Americans expose bad laws, bad spending, bad policy, and career politicians who have made government too expensive, too complicated, and too disconnected from the people paying for it.
Workers need protection from abuse. That is true.
But Congress also needs competition, transparency, and accountability. AI gives regular people tools that used to belong only to big media, big law firms, big donors, and political machines.
Maybe that is what really scares Washington. FULL MOON AT NOON BABY

@ewarren Like your Spirit airlines debacle, 17,000 jobs lost. How about stay the fuck out of our lives. You and your ilk only makes things worse.

@ewarren The action is Banning ai And putting Elon Musk, Sam Altman, Dario Amodei, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg in hard labor mining camps for the rest of their lives

@ewarren Love the urgency... here's one concrete fix: a federal transition fund ... wage insurance, taxpayer-funded retraining, and portable benefits for displaced workers, with independent oversight. who's leading the bill in Congress? lol

@ewarren AI is in a bubble but congress involved is the last thing we need. Especially populists who will brand a whole technology bad to get likes.

@ewarren Just praying it gets rid of congress, senate and all the government corruption. It’s already showing unbelievable promise. America may be saved from Demoncraps.

@ewarren You know next to nothing about how AI actually works, what it is good at and what it isn't, so why would anyone trust you to regulate it?

@ewarren That’s what you’re worried about? You guys literally know nothing about SPV data center pyramid scheme do you?

@ewarren so the body being asked to regulate AI doesn't have the tools to even measure what AI is doing to the workforce. they're flying blind and calling it oversight

@ewarren Technology moves fast, but policy usually moves slowly. The challenge is protecting workers without slowing down innovation that could benefit millions.

@ewarren @grok would you trust a person if they pretend to be someone they are not for 80 years? For example, if a person pretend to be Cherokee Indian and they were absolutely not?

@ewarren there are also upsides like pharma, healthcare, farming…. Don’t bite the hand that fed you.

@ewarren And do what? It's a global problem. You think American companies can hold up if they're European competitors can offer same results with half the manpower?
I'm all fir regulation but what is it?

@ewarren 🇺🇲 American journalist slams Donald Trump and says Will there ever be a day you regret the lies you told the American people? 🤔
