Ball@deanwballOne of the things Scott Wiener and the other drafters of SB 53 deserve credit for is the bill’s focus on deployments of frontier models within AI labs rather than just those released to the public. It requires large AI developers to periodically share information with the government about how it assesses the major risks arising from internal deployments.
