World Labs under Fei-Fei Li has rolled out browser-native 3D environments built on its Marble generative model, letting users navigate persistent scenes and converse with simulated historical figures in real time rather than watching fixed video clips.

The worlds rely on the Spark library for on-the-fly 3D Gaussian splatting, so navigation, edits, and camera moves happen directly in the browser with no pre-rendered footage involved.
A showcase built with WithLoreCo populates floating islands and ruins with historical figures, but no public sources confirm separate rollout timing or access rules beyond the general Marble platform.
Users praised World Labs' browser-based 3D worlds with historical figures for their impressive technical feats like handling millions of splats and delivering immersive interactive experiences that feel like magic.
The creativity and imagination is out of the world! So grateful that @theworldlabs got to partner with the amazing talents @withloreco to translate their incredible ideas into an interactive experiences for users to enjoy!🤩

ICARE was created in collaboration with @WithLoreCo and the World Labs team using Marble and Spark 2.0
Developed by:
• @LoicPix (Art & Animation) • @itsnicholash (World Design & UI Design) • @PendingReallity (Technical Art Direction & Engineering)

Explore worlds inspired by Da Vinci, Tesla, Hokusai, Frida Kahlo, and other visionaries from history.
Created with Marble. Millions of Gaussian splats, streamed directly in your browser (desktop only).
Play Icare: http://icare-game.world

A glimpse behind the scenes.
The launch video wasn't rendered separately. The team connected Blender to the live Spark 2.0 runtime, animating cameras and previewing the splat-rendered result in real time.
The same Marble gameplay worlds also helped create the launch video.

Later this week we'll share a deeper look at the workflows behind ICARE:
• World generation and design • Browser-native splat streaming • Gameplay and interaction systems • AI-assisted production

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco not bad to give it try, but these browser worlds usually hit lag pretty quick

@theworldlabs 150 million splats in web 🤯

@theworldlabs CRUSHED IT!
Beyond happy to get this out to the world, hope everyone enjoys playing!

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco Thank you Fei Fei it was really fun working with your team on this! Cheers!

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco the hard part isn't the research. it's shipping something people actually use. most demos look incredible for 90 seconds then users bounce.
being able to tell the difference between impressive and sticky is the whole game.

@theworldlabs Universal world Model

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco This is truly next level

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco solid.

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco 💙

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco Explorable worlds running live in a browser instead of prerendered video is a real glimpse of what is next.

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco This is pure magic—dream worlds where Einstein and da Vinci actually hang out, all in your browser. Spatial intelligence just leveled up from pixels to playgrounds. Can't wait to step in and geek out with the legends!

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco VR museum simulator without the waiting in line or the weird smell.

@theworldlabs Didn’t know the web could be so beautiful. Nice work

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco i never know which browser worlds actually work in until i try
half the time it tells me to update something first

@drfeifei @theworldlabs @withloreco this collab sounds wild, imagine actually walking through a historical figure's brain
