We are going to work together with Cursor soon to make this more seamless, but here are the instructions on how to do it. First, install the MagicPath skill following the instructions here: https://www.magicpath.ai/documentation/features/external-agents, then open MagicPath in the Cursor browser and connect to your account. Cursor will be able to create new files, see which one is open, your selected components, etc. Posting a video on this soon! It’s magical
Cursor just got its own canvas
Cannot understate how big this news is. Has potential to be the killer design/IDE tool we’ve been waiting for.
After trying EVERY tool over recent months I always return to Cursor and Figma. This might be the thing that replaces Figma in that equation.

For Cursor to communicate with MagicPath, it needs our agent skill. Just paste this inside the Cursor chat.
"Install this skill npx skills add https://github.com/magicpathai/agent-skills --skill magicpath"
The agent will walk you through the installation, logging into our app and the CLI. If you get stuck, just ask Cursor for help.
First, open the Cursor browser into a new project. Then, navigate to http://magicpath.ai and log in.
@skirano nice pointers

@skirano Wow that was fast

@skirano I'd appreciate it if they paid more attention to the VSCode-like code editor.
I like the Agents Window (I even was a beta tester for a few weeks prior to release), but it's not there just yet.
Trusting you @cursor_ai
Then ask Cursor to either start working on the open MagicPath file, create a new one, or point to an existing one. Cursor will know what to do.

@skirano Dang that's nice

@__morse Brought you by @MagicPathAI :)

@skirano Something that is still missing me for me. I want a canvas for all my views that have already been coded. For example, I have a multi-step onboarding flow that I want to make ui updates on. I’d love to see that represented on the canvas and be able to make ui updates from there.

@skirano Designing inside the same tool you code in removes the handoff problem that slows down every solo builder

@skirano Broo

@skirano Feel like this has bigger impact then the models improving on frontend

@skirano Rad 🤩👌

@skirano Interesting—wonder if this is a multiplayer canvas or just a persistent state layer. Either way, it signals they're pushing past the chat-edit paradigm into spatial reasoning for code.
