@GergelyOroszI am increasingly annoyed by agents running locally, launching stuff (browser windows, apps etc) while I'm trying to work, interfering with my own desktop This stuff needs to live either in a VM, or probably the cloud. I want to kick it off and not distract me!

@altryneThe cloud it's where it's at! Scaling local Mac is hard and a few codex and cloud agents running in parallel are chilling the machine and are in each other's way

@mattshumer_With Astra and Fable 5.1, we officially have drop-in remote workers. Still takes quite a bit of setup, but once you have it dialed in, it's near perfect. I haven't touched my computer in a few days, and I'm more productive than ever.

@emollickMultiple instances of Code/Codex agents regularly take over my computer, open browser tabs, run local models themselves (thanks to @cocktailpeanut), and interact with what I am working on. Time sharing my own computer is weird (even leaving aside the fact I had to up security).

@romainhuetWatching Codex use my own computer better than I do will never get old. It just sorted my Slack messages by clicking through filters I didn’t even know existed! Take an appshot of any app with ⌘⌘ and let Codex take it from there!

@yuntiandengDo people know how to pause running Codex sessions so I can close my laptop, move to my office, and then resume them? Every day I get stuck at home because I don't want to interrupt all the running agents that seem so busy and hardworking...
