A user argues that coding agents don’t remove the need to understand the lower levels behind abstract work.

    TLDR

One user argues that working at a higher level of abstraction has always required understanding lower levels, and coding agents don’t change that. In a reply, another user agrees that agents speed up output but says creative, well-thought-out human input still matters just as much.

elvis@omarsar0@trq212 I agree. I've been thinking about this as I teach more about coding agents, and the best ideas come from years of learning and gaining experience with low-level stuff. Coding agents speed up output, but creative, well-thought-out human input matters just as much.2h
