The thing is, the lower the barrier to entry in terms of cost, the more I feel like I can build in terms of complexity. It feels like it unlocks other things that were just simply not possible with these expensive subscriptions. Local AI models will truly change the world. Making AI more accessible is the best gift to humanity.
elvis@omarsar0It's crazy that this is even possible today. It inspired me to build my own self-improving coding agent with simple read, write, bash,... I already used the coding agent to build an entire production-grade application in 24 hrs. I don't know, man. This feels so strange.
Example: Before this, I wouldn't even have dared to build my own coding agent. Where would I get the tokens to do it? I regularly get rate-limited with my current max subscriptions as it is. Intelligence/tokens will get cheaper, and so you build with that future in mind. Connects well with my earlier tweet:
