GitHub Unveils HydraFusion Model Orchestration in Copilot

GitHub announced Project HydraFusion for Copilot. According to GitHub and Satya Nadella, the system selects and combines models to plan, build, critique, and complete coding tasks. GitHub states that in controlled offline evaluations on Terminal-Bench 2.1, it delivered 4.9 percentage points higher verified task quality than Claude Opus 5 at 67% lower estimated cost.
