Arxiv Faces Backlash Over Lifelong Bans For Code Of Conduct Violations

I hope this decision will be reconsidered. As others have pointed out, this effectively amounts to a lifelong ban from arXiv, which appears disproportionate. I agree that there should be accountability, but there are surely better solutions than draconian laws.
