Andrew Koh Shares 2025 Chapter on AI Economy

Andrew Koh, assistant professor of economics at Columbia and research scientist at Google DeepMind, posted about a chapter he co-wrote with Gillian in mid-2025. The text examined an economy of AI agents but relied on imagined scenarios because the required technology did not yet exist. Koh attached a screenshot of the printed chapter page titled "An Economy of AI A…". He observed that enormously powerful AI agents are now available and listed several remaining open questions in the area.
