As a developer, I’ve realized the biggest difference between @NousResearch and its competitors 🦞 isn’t the technology.
It’s the people.
@Teknium genuinely seems like he doesn’t sleep.
The guy is constantly replying, reviewing PRs, helping contributors, shipping updates, and engaging with the community.
What surprised me most wasn’t the Hermes agent.
It was the culture.
You have the CEO personally welcoming new members.
Core contributors helping complete strangers.
Developers genuinely excited when someone opens their first PR.
When you want to contribute, you’re not treated like a random GitHub username.
You’re treated like family.
I’ve been around open source for a long time.
Very few communities make you feel like you belong from day one.
Hermes does.
And honestly, that’s harder to build than any AI agent.
