TLDR

A user says they discovered an old iPhone 6s still had access while overseeing agents doing security cleanup. They say computer-use tools now make a basic audit of personal devices and accounts an hour-long task, and point to two-factor authentication and backup or fallback protocols as other basics.

Samuel Albanie 🇬🇧@SamuelAlbanieAI may or may not break some cryptography. in the meantime, here's a security chore it has become rather good at with computer use mostly working, a basic audit of your personal devices and accounts now only takes an hour used to find this excruciating & about as fun as sorting laundry* now it's mildly entertaining to oversee the agents doing the cleanup & find out ye olde iphone 6s still had access the rest is basic stuff like 2FA everywhere and backup/fallback protocols that make reasonable tradeoffs worth the hassle imo *unless test cricket is on. pairing socks through an england batting collapse is about as gripping as life gets42m
