Cyber operations against financial organizations in Brazil showed AI reasoning traces embedded in the attack scripts, @trendaisecurity reports.
The threat actor used agentic AI across much of the intrusion lifecycle, including tunneling between the victim's network and the attacker's C&C servers. The ability to generate artifacts on the fly likely made the attack harder to detect.
