@kimmonismus Is anyone even using voice-live? For me the UE is terrible. Its normal voice + 500 small brakes + 500 uhms followed by 500x “Let me check that”. Bringing it into Codex is like using sour milk when baking a cake - A bad idea.
@kimmonismus I love the new voice mode! I've been waiting for this for 2 years!
@OpenAIDevs WAIT YESSS THIS WAS A NEED
Codex updates with GPT-live, but no announcement to Codex fast on cerebras: - GPT-Live brings ChatGPT Voice to Chat, Work, and Codex. - macOS screen context now understands the active window. - Projects now support multiple folders with a primary folder. I really hope they release more than this. They hyped today’s release up quite a bit.
Keep work across multiple folders in one Codex project. Local projects can now include related code, docs, and reference files from multiple folders. Codex can read and write across them while one primary folder remains the Git root.
Big day, rumors are: OpenAI upgrades Codex with real-time voice and parallel worker agents. Cerebras pushes GPT-5.6 Sol to speeds of up to 750 tok/s. And on top maybe even Opus 5. Im al in for it!
The primary folder handles Git operations, review, pull requests, AGENTS.md, and skill discovery.
