A researcher says their Veria AI agent chained two bugs in XRP Ledger software and demonstrated an exploit on a local network that could have created 18 trillion XRP in one transaction. They say they reported the flaw on September 22 and XRPL released an emergency fix on September 25. Ripple awarded their team a $250,000 bounty, and, according to the researcher, RippleX found no evidence the flaw was exploited.
