A post from @lockedincheetah on X showed a co-founder sitting in a booth and talking to an AI version of Y Combinator CEO Garry Tan after, according to the post, a potential customer told her to get an entry-level job. A follow-up image shared by @menhguin turned that setup into the joke itself: a startup team apparently built a Garry Tan simulacrum to role-play advice, encouragement or at least a pep talk after what the original post described as a rough interaction.
