Resemble AI releases DramaBox open-source cinematic voice model
Resemble AI released DramaBox, an open-source voice model for cinematic applications. The model produces expressive performances with emotional delivery, sighs, laughter, and voice cracking. A browser-based interface accepts scene-setting and casting prompts, then generates animated waveforms and dialogue examples such as a talk-show host. All output receives automatic watermarks. Posts from accounts including @0xDevShah, @Scobleizer, and @yoheinakajima highlighted the launch.
haha, it's a dramatic voice model
We're releasing a whole new category of voice models. Introducing DramaBox — our state-of-the-art, open source voice model built for cinematic use cases. Traditional TTS gives you a voice. DramaBox by @resembleai gives you a performance. For too long, Voice AI has been stuck in "robotic assistant" mode. If you wanted dramatic emotion, sighs, or a voice cracking with grief, you had to hire an actor or spend hours editing. We fixed that.
