Notifications and unread badges route with the right context, AppShots and voice mode use the active composer, and Escape stops the chat you meant to stop.
Codex now keeps more of your working state across restarts.
Unread indicators, prompt drafts, zoom level, disabled hotkey preferences, archived-section state, and worktree context all come back the way you expect.

@thsottiaux Tibo, the five hour limit makes it impossible for $200 dollar monthly Pro users to ever hit their Weekly Usage Limit. Meaning we are purchasing more tokens than your machine allows us to use. I'm guessing that OpenAI's configuration is probably illegal under the law.

@OpenAIDevs I would greatly enjoy it not turning my MacBook into a space heater. That’s my only gripe because it quickly became my preferred way to use AI. If I could use the app but with Pi as the harness running the AI I would die of happiness.
@thsottiaux Tibo Windows app is still so far behind the Mac version. Please let Microsoft get involved to solve the problems in Windows; they need to take responsibility. They have a lot of work to do on the system level.

@OpenAIDevs Search in Codex settings is the kind of update people underrate until setup gets messy. Grouped by category matters too. Scanning every section is fine once, then it becomes pure friction.
