    TLDR

Brian Roemmele answered on Quora that an MIT report calls text-based AI detectors worthless and run by grifters. In a separate post he stated a contact told him Princeton plans to issue a freeze order on new licenses for such tools and form a review committee within weeks. He said his research and the MIT report were shared with the university. Other posts in the packet repeat these claims or react to them. No direct announcement from MIT or Princeton appears in the evidence.

@thePartyPartyUSLord's work. In institutions where truth and knowledge are supposed to be the driving telos, easily fudgible 'AI detection' should never be allowed at the structural level.
