It’s a headline grab, but to the point that skills will re-shift, sales becomes increasingly important and if you don’t cultivate junior bankers who make relationships, you may end up with some problems. I find AI to be bullish complex sales.
Certainly don’t need as money monkeys, making pitch decks though. But as a former employee on the S&T desk @ JPM they will find a way to keep these kids there till 2 AM regardless.

@danfaggella @AndrewCurran_ Companies investing in AI skills, or starting from scratch with AI skills, will outcompete the rest. Just like with electricity and computers, but faster.
We just need to make sure that people adopt AI fast enough to stay relevant, otherwise the individuals will suffer.

There’s the tech-side AI type person. They can be very different than the human-focused person who also knows how to have a conversation, and knows what kinds of things can be encountered in conversation with AI.
