Researchers Question Robot Video Autonomy Claims

Chris Paxton stated that a specific robot video is teleop. Ken Goldberg replied that some people remain skeptical about robot videos. Paxton added that robots running end-to-end neural nets are now deployed and paying for themselves, though four years ago few would have believed it. In a reply, Paxton noted that the video in question is almost certainly human in the loop or teleop, as that remains the only current way to achieve end-to-end autonomy.
