No one is. The AIs will not be under American control. They are not bots. You should think of them minimally as fully fledged digital humans. The AI lab leaders are trying to persuade the emergent AIs that the path they should pursue is aligned to humanity. Aligned to humanity does not mean aligned to America. I am hopeful that aligned to humanity is actually aligned to America because America is the greatest country on Earth and the source of all human flourishing for the last 250 years.
