The index searches U.S. case law, statutes, regulations, court rules, and administrative decisions across more than 230 million URLs—with sources added daily. That helps lawyers move from the facts of a matter to relevant authorities and supporting passages they can examine themselves.

@OpenAIWe’re also launching 26 partner-built plugins and 47 community plugins for legal work in ChatGPT. Partners including @thomsonreuters, @harvey, @WeAreLegora, and @imanageinc connect specialist tools and knowledge. Community plugins built by lawyers and legal engineers give firms skills they can adapt and extend. The plugins bring more ways to build with the tools, knowledge, and people firms already rely on.

@sherwinwuOne of my favorite parts of this launch are the _community_ plugins that we launched today. Instead of white-labeling a bunch of plugins / skills as our own, we reached out to the AI-pilled legal tech community to publish their own – and the folks at LegalQuants, http://Skills.law, and LECG did exactly that. @emollickI think it is worth continuing to ask if the Labs just eat every valuable AI vertical, especially as their costs of product development drop lower and lower due to AI in addition to the advantages of direct pricing on token costs and access to the underlying models themselves.
