Joseph Cox of 404 Media reports that Proton CEO Andy Yen called an employee’s request for at least a few days to pentest new code “loser thinking” and urged engineers to use AI more. Workers told the outlet they feared rebukes for raising security concerns. A Proton spokesperson acknowledged that some staff were unhappy or anxious and said management had sometimes been too blunt.
