Best model so far that I run regularly on my Mac Studio: gemma-4:26b This fella is pretty capable. I started using it once or twice every day, but now I'm doing all sorts of things with it. You can even write code with it! Not Opus-level, of course, but you can have your kid writing simple applications with it.
